In the Cloud
Venvee’s cloud securely receives positional data describing non-identifiable shopper paths and evaluates them within the context of various site features, such as passageways, products, screens and registers. It translates precise shopper in-store positions to position-free action insights; entries, exits, and impressions and interactions with in-store products and screens and checkouts. Brought together, these action insights form non-identifiable shopper journeys that describe each shopper’s in-store experience from entry to exit.
To the Enterprise
Venvee customers securely interact with the platform via API. They supply de-identified point-of-sale data and receive action insights and complete shopper journeys correlated to baskets.
Customers can also retrieve audience measurement data derived from non-identifiable impressions, interactions and conversions to understand the performance of in-store products, screens and other features.

As defined by the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), a “Biometric identifier” is a “retina or iris scan, fingerprint, voiceprint, or scan of hand or face geometry.” Legislation varies regionally and sometimes includes other features such as a person’s gate or heartbeat.

Shopper FAQs
No. When you enter a store in which our software is used it detects only that “a shopper” has entered the store. Our software is incapable of knowing who you are.
No. We do not produce or store personally identifiable information, biometrics or geo-location in any way.
No. We do not use facial recognition, nor do we endeavor to identify customers in any way.
We never identify you personally, and as such there is no need for such a list.
